PURPOSE:
To approve a Requirements Contract with Wild Rose Motors LTD (Wild Rose Motors) for the refurbishment of public safety vehicles as required on an annual basis under a one-year contract with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms for Ford or Chevrolet vehicles in accordance with City Code § 3.10.030.1.
BACKGROUND:
A formal Request for Letter of Interest for Competitive Solicitation was published, as required, with a single response obtained from Wild Rose Motors. Wild Rose Motors provided one-time refurbishments for police vehicles during two previous fiscal years as the single response received under a letter of interest competive solicitation method.
Staff is requesting approval of the refurbishment of public safety vehicles upon approval to execute requirements contract 500540. Total cost is based on Wild Rose Motors’ proposed amount of $118,466.50 (fees and taxes included) plus applicable freight charges.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Providing a cost-effective and reliable fleet of public safety vehicles allows Lake Havasu City to serve the community needs for police, fire, rescue, and emergency medical services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds of $118,466.50 are allocated and available in the General Fund Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget.

I move to approve the Requirements Contract with Wild Rose Motors LTD and refurbishment of public safety vehicles in the amount of $118,466.50 (fees and taxes included) plus applicable freight charges; authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract; and authorize City staff to exercise the option to annually renew.
