Adopt Resolution No. 24-3760 Appointing Members to the Lake Havasu City Board of Adjustment (Kelly Williams)

PURPOSE:
To adopt a resolution appointing members to the Board of Adjustment due to the current and upcoming vacancies of regular and alternate member positions.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s office received five (5) applications requesting consideration for appointment as regular and/or alternate members to the Board of Adjustment. Appointments are necessary to fill vacancies due to the current and upcoming vacancies of three (3) regular member and three (3) alternate member positions.
The Application Review Panel conducted interviews for the Board of Adjustment on June 10, and June 19, 2024, and recommends that Kevin Casey and Jim Harris be reappointed as regular members with terms ending June 30, 2027, and that Todd Rounds be reappointed as an alternate member and Larry Heller be appointed as an alternate member with terms ending June 30, 2026.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.
