PURPOSE:
To adopt a resolution appointing members to the Airport Advisory Board to fill upcoming vacancies.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s office received 10 applications requesting consideration for appointment to the Airport Advisory Board. The appointments are necessary to fill the upcoming vacancies of one (1) regular pilot member, one (1) regular non-pilot member, and one (1) alternate pilot member.
The Application Review Panel conducted interviews for the Airport Advisory Board on June 13, and June 18, 2024, and recommends that Louis Worthy be reappointed as a regular non-pilot member, James Baldwin be appointed as a regular pilot member, and Thomas Williams be appointed as an alternate pilot member with terms ending June 30, 2027.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.

I move to adopt Resolution No. 24-3759 appointing , as a regular pilot member, as a regular non-pilot member, and as an alternate pilot member to the Lake Havasu City Airport Advisory Board with terms ending on June 30, 2027.
