PURPOSE:
To approve utilization of cooperative purchasing contracts issued by Axia Cooperative for the purchase of goods, products, materials and services.
BACKGROUND:
Lake Havasu City is a member of several nonprofit cooperative purchasing organizations and utilizes numerous existing government-awarded supplier contracts for the purchase of goods and services. Examples of purchases through this program include aquatic, technology, and fleet equipment, maintenance, repair, operating products and services.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Use of cooperative contracts are advantageous because they provide market share leverage by combining government and nonprofit purchase requirements with other public entities thereby gaining economies of scale. The city obtains budgetary benefits achieved through combined volume purchases, delivery and supply chain advantages, best practices, and the reduction of administrative time and expenses.

I move to adopt Resolution No. 24-3743 approving and authorizing the City Manager to execute the Master Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with Axia Cooperative.
