PURPOSE:
Per Federal Transit Administration there must be an incidental Use Agreement with any outside entity residing in the Transit Building. This document will replace the Lease Agreement signed in November 2022.
BACKGROUND:
After getting permission from the Federal Transit Administration Region 9, Lake Havasu City is allowed to make available a portion of the Lake Havasu City Transit Building at 900 London Bridge Road, Building B. The Lake Havasu City Transit Building is a federally funded building that was purchased with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds in 2010. This agreement meets the needs of Lake Havasu City Transit’s requirement of meeting the Satisfactory Control of 2 CFR 200.311 Real Property Incidental Use.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
There is no community impact with this agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact with this agreement. The Lake Havasu Metropolitan Planning Organization (LHMPO) will provide their own insurance for all its personal property located on the premises.
